The book and its stage adaptation — featuring hit songs from the iconic animated film, such as “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wanna Be Like You” — tell the story of Mowgli, the man-cub raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. Despite Mowgli’s wish to stay in the jungle, Bagheera and Baloo plan to take him to a nearby village. Their journey is filled with adventures, as Mowgli must face King Louie, the monkey ruler, and the cunning snake Kaa, before a final showdown with the tiger Shere Khan!
